Security & Privacy at SeoPerc

Your trust matters. We built SeoPerc with a privacy-first architecture so you can use our tools confidently for everyday work and sensitive tasks.

We continuously improve platform security, harden infrastructure, and keep processing transparent so you always know how your data is handled.

Our Security Principles

1) Privacy by design
We design tools to minimize data exposure. Many tools process data directly in your browser, and where server-side processing is required, storage is temporary and tightly controlled.

2) Least data retention
We do not use your uploaded files as permanent storage. Temporary files are cleaned up automatically after processing windows.

3) Secure transport everywhere
All traffic is delivered over HTTPS with modern transport protections to reduce interception risk.

4) Layered defenses
We combine browser-side controls, server hardening, abuse protections, and platform monitoring to reduce common attack surfaces.

How Your Data Is Handled

  • Client-side tools: Processing happens inside your browser session where possible.
  • Server-assisted tools: Files may be temporarily stored only to complete conversion/analysis workflows.
  • Automatic cleanup: Temporary artifacts are deleted on a short lifecycle and are not intended for long-term retention.
  • No permanent file vault: SeoPerc is not a cloud drive and does not keep user uploads as a storage service.

Security Controls We Apply

  • HTTPS/TLS delivery
  • Security headers and browser hardening
  • Controlled script loading and dependency integrity checks
  • Bot/abuse mitigation layers (including CAPTCHA controls where needed)
  • Access control and admin-area protection
  • Routine dependency and platform updates
  • Logging and operational monitoring for abnormal behavior

Tool Safety Transparency

Different tools require different execution models:

  • Browser-native processing for many formatters, generators, and analysis tools
  • Server-temporary processing for selected conversion workflows where browser limits apply

When a tool uses temporary server processing, we aim to clearly disclose this behavior in the tool UI.

What You Can Do as a User

For best security hygiene while using online tools:

  • Avoid uploading highly confidential data unless necessary
  • Remove sensitive fields before processing when possible
  • Use strong passwords and 2FA on your own accounts
  • Keep your browser updated
  • Verify destination URLs before sharing output publicly

Responsible Disclosure

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly so we can investigate and remediate quickly.

Please include:

  • A clear description of the issue
  • Steps to reproduce
  • Affected URL(s) or tool(s)
  • Screenshots/logs if available

We appreciate responsible reports that help us keep SeoPerc safe for everyone.
